Safeguarding Information

Child Protection

At Holy Rosary Catholic Primary School reasonable action is taken to ensure the safety of its pupils.

A child may be subject to ill treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse.   Staff have no alternative but to follow Area Safeguarding Procedures and inform the Social Services of their concern.

Within schools you will have a

Designated Safeguarding Lead and Acting Headteacher
Mr Tim Brogan

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Senior Teachers
Mrs Marie Dyche  and Miss Elizabeth  Hook

You can also contact the Chair of Governors
and Designated Governor for Child Protection

Mrs Cecilia Emery

If you have any concerns about child protection, please contact the school office
Mrs Julie Faircliff and Mrs Paulina Dabrowska for procedures, policies or issues within our school.

Have you got a serious concern about the safety of a child or young person up to the age of 18? Do you think a child or young person is being harmed or is at risk of being harmed?
Are you worried that a child is living in circumstances where they are treated badly and not cared for properly?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions and you don’t believe that the child or young person is being supported by a Social Worker, please contact the First Response Service immediately.
